Harry Lane Wurster - The Way I See It

Harry Lane Wurster - The Way I See It I strongly adhere to Emile Zola's statement on creativity: "If you ask me what I came to do in this world... I will answer you: I am here to live out loud."

In 1997 I picked up a paint brush and began my journey, painting out loud and outside the box.

As a self-taught artist I follow the words of Pablo Picasso: "I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it."

I want my work to speak of the social and spiritual aspects of my life experiences. Jean-Michel Basquiat said it best: "I don't think about art when I'm working, I try to think about life."

I am a member of Artist Studios at Fearrington Village, Chatham Arts Council, and Arts Council of Moore County. My art has won numerous awards and has been shown in solo and group exhibits. For additional information or to see more of my work, email hlwurster@gmail.com or call 919-545-2126.
